Regulatory status

Heka VR is a CE-marked medical device under Regulation (EU) 2017/745 on medical devices (MDR). The device is manufactured by Challenge ApS and registered with the relevant competent authorities, including the Danish Medicines Agency (Lægemiddelstyrelsen) and, via EUDAMED, the European Commission. For vigilance, complaints, or incident reports, please contact us at contact@hekavr.com. Serious incidents involving the device should also be reported to the competent national authority of the EU/EEA Member State in which the user or patient is established.

Medical devices: Danish Medicines Agency (Lægemiddelstyrelsen), laegemiddelstyrelsen.dk.
Data protection: Danish Data Protection Agency (Datatilsynet), datatilsynet.dk.
Marketing and cookies: Danish Business Authority (Erhvervsstyrelsen) and the Danish Consumer Ombudsman (Forbrugerombudsmanden).

Governing law and jurisdiction

Use of this website is governed by the laws of Denmark, excluding its conflict-of-law rules and the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG). The City Court of Copenhagen (Københavns Byret) is agreed as the venue of first instance, unless otherwise required by mandatory law. Where you are a consumer resident in another EU/EEA Member State, this clause does not deprive you of the protection of mandatory provisions of the law of your country of habitual residence (Art. 6 of the Rome I Regulation (EC) 593/2008).

Online and alternative dispute resolution

The European Commission provides a platform for online dispute resolution (ODR) under Regulation (EU) 524/2013, available at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr. Heka VR primarily serves healthcare institutions on a business-to-business basis. We are not obliged to, and do not undertake to, participate in alternative dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer dispute board (Forbrugerklagenævnet / Center for Klageløsning).
